Job Details
A boat manufacturing company in Umm Al Quwain looking for a Finishing Carpenter responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture in yachts and boats.
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.
Install doors, windows, cabinets, partitions, and furniture.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
Ensure work is completed according to project requirements and safety standards.
Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
Minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in a yacht and boat manufacturing company.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Good measurement and mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
